Aside from GMA's Balitang Bisdak and ABS-CBN's TV Patrol Central Visayas, TV5 will be rolling out today their own regional newscast as part of their efforts to further expand their reach to all Filipinos.
Aksyon Bisaya will be hosted by season radio news anchor Atty. Ruphil Bañoc and Darlene Sino-Cruz, who was connected with GMA-7 Cebu. This will be TV5 Aksyon's first regional version.
Atty. Bañoc writes a column for SunStar Cebu, a college professor and is the current station manager of DYHP. Sino-Cruz formerly worked as a reporter for Balitang Bisdak and will be now a news anchor for Aksyon Bisaya.
Atty. Bañoc and Sino-Cruz will join the ranks of Bobby Nalzaro and Atty. Rose Versoza of Balitang Bisdak and Leo Lastimosa and Atty. Haide Acuña of TV Patrol Central Visayas in delivering the news that matters to the Cebuanos and to Central Visayas.
Aksyon Bisaya will mark their first broadcast today, 5:45 PM in TV5.
