Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 in Cebu

Together with my Cebu Bloggers Society family and media people, Sony Ericsson launched yesterday at Cabalen Restaurant, SM City Cebu their latest handsets that really impressed me. There's the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 mini and the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 mini pro. It has been dubbed as the world's smallest Android smartphones in terms of height x width as of April 28, 2010.

They also launched their X10 Cafe, which runs from July 14 to July 25, 2010, a place where customers can relax by drinking coffee while being having a touch and feel of the latest handsets from Sony Ericsson. It's really a cool way of customer approach which lessens the tension and creates a relaxed conversation.

I was able to "touch and feel" both and it was really amazing. Despite its credit-card size, it has a lot of futures and capabilities. It fits the tag "small but terrible". The size of the X10 mini is about 83 x 50 x 16mm and weighs 88g while the X10 mini pro is about 90 x 52 x 17mm and weighs 120g. They both have 4 customizable home screen corners of shortcuts that you'd really find useful. The Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 mini pro also has a full-sized slide-out QWERTY keypad for your convenience.

Another handset that I was able use (by updating my Facebook status) was the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10. When you want to combine professional, social and personal life in one screen, then this cellphone is for you. Using Timescape™, it integrates it all in just one screen. That's how organized it is. It also has Mediascape for your music pleasures and with the use of the powerful Infinite Button, you'll know more about the artists, their latest songs, latest music videos and almost everything in your cellphone.

The cellphone also have the Face Recognition application which can tag your friend's photos and once you click their tagged picture, you're dialing already their number. Now that's a wow!

You can also download free applications using the Android Market™ to keep your Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 updated. Customize it with your favorite applications in a market which has a lot of it.

Then here comes the most powerful button in these latest handsets. It's called the Infinite button. Press it once and you'll see everything related to your subject in one screen. That's how powerful this cellphones are.

What I also like about these phones is the availability of Google Services, which I am an avid user. Google Maps™, Gmail™, Google Talk™, Google Search™ and Youtube™, it's there. Then there's also Facebook Mobile so anywhere you go, with wifi, you can easily update your Facebook status, share photos and be updated with your Facebook community activity. That lives up to the word "smartphone."

Hey, finally X10 mini is here na, ive been waiting for that. im torn between xperia x10 and vivaz. but i must admit that although it runs on android it's still a very infant SONY Ericsson model. i have to give it a thumbs up for x10's touch screen technology.
