Just got inked for the 2010 Barangay Elections

This is my second time to vote in an election supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). The first was last May 2010 for the national and local elections and this October 2010, for the barangay elections.

Just got inked!
I went to Tisa 1 Night High School past noon and was welcomed by the festive environment despite the rain. Tarps and posters were hanging almost everywhere and sample ballots littering everywhere. I saw people from different walks of life who wanted to vote.
Fiesta-themed school with tarps and posters of those who are gunning for their respective barangay elective posts.
Despite the rain, the people still braved to exercise their right to suffrage.
My polling precinct was still the same but my room assignment was different for this election. I consulted the people in the assistance desk to check on my room assignment and it was like, whew, that was fast. Thanks to their dedication and service, I was spared from roaming around the school to read almost all of the voters' list to search for my name.
My ka-barangays at Tisa 1 Night High School where I voted.
Although I have already seen the cranky yellow ballot box before, I just felt that we were back to something we want to move on. I was able to fill up my ballot in a span of 2 minutes in a small desk inside the polling precinct. I don't really know most of them or get in touch with them, but I have a full trust on those I voted to lead our village, Barangay Tisa here in Cebu City.
The teachers inside my polling precinct who tirelessly do their obligation to the nation.
Let's continue to be vigilant as we end the voting, end the counting and start their serving. After all, we are their BOSS.
