Sinulog 2011: Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan Winners

17 contingents participated the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan 2011 yesterday which started through a parade and ended at the Cebu City Sports Complex. The Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan winners were also declared yesterday and the Top 5 will be joining the Sinulog 2011 Grand Parade this January 16, 2011.

The competition, in honor of Señor Santo Niño, is dedicated for the schools under the supervision of the Province of Cebu. Present during the event was also Cebu Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia and Cebu City Mayor Michael L. Rama.

Below is the list of the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan 2011 winners divided in two (2) divisions namely Elementary Division and High School Division:

ELEMENTARY DIVISION
  • Grand Champion: San Roque Elementary School from Talisay City
  • 2nd Place Winner: Pajo Elementary School from Lapu-Lapu City
  • 3rd Place Winner: Cambanay Elementary School "Karansang Danawanon" from Danao City
  • 4th Place Winner: DepEd Cordova District from Cordova
  • 5th Place Winner: Basak Elementary School from Mandaue City
  • Special Awards
  • Best in Costume: Pajo Elementary School
  • Best in Musicality: San Roque Elementary School

SECONDARY DIVISION
  • Grand Champion: DepEd Carcar Division from Carcar
  • 2nd Place Winner: Sabang National High School from Danao City
  • 3rd Place Winner: Pooc National High School from Talisay City
  • 4th Place Winner: Tipolo National High School "Mandawehanong Kaliwat" from Mandaue City
  • 5th Place Winner: Toledo National Vocational School from Toledo City
  • Special Awards
  • Best in Costume: Sabang National High School
  • Best in Musicality: Tipolo National High School "Mandawehanong Kaliwat"
