How to add your LinkedIn contacts to Google Plus

Google Plus has been surely gaining a lot of buzz for the past few weeks and users are finding ways to export theirs friends from other social networks. In the earlier post, I shared to you how to export your friends from Facebook to Google Plus. Here, I will be sharing to you on how to add your LinkedIn contacts to Google Plus.


LinkedIn operates the world’s largest professional network on the Internet with more than 100 million members in over 200 countries and territories. It's a site of unlimited job opportunities for people on the site who prop up their online curriculum vitae for prospect employers. As of January 2011, LinkedIn counts executives from all 2010 Fortune 500 companies as members; its hiring solutions were used by 73 of the Fortune 100 companies as of March 22, 2011.

Here are the steps on how to add your LinkedIn contacts to Google Plus:

1. Go here http://www.linkedin.com/addressBookExport
2. Download .csv file
3. Upload to Gmail

To import contacts to Gmail:

1. Sign in to your Gmail.
2. Click Contacts (located above the Compose Mail button) on any Gmail page.
3. From the More actions dropdown menu, select Import
4. Click the Choose File button.
5. Select the .csv file you'd like to upload and click the Import button.

When it's done, Gmail will display the number of contacts imported. You can now invite your contacts and add them to your circles!
