As of this blogging, I already finished paying my dues for my Midterm exams. This was a different situation from the Prelim. During that time, a multitude of Technologians were crowding the CIT accounting area. It was largely due to the lack of attending tellers and a hassle system that the CIT accounting has adopted.

Last July 31, 2009, I and CIT-SSG President Billy Jee Belenson were able to talk with CIT's Accountant (the one who oversees the operations of the CIT accounting) Leonardo C. Nabua because we were supposed to request for the release of our funds.
We were guided by Mr. Nabua on how to make our request because what we made did not follow what the standard should be. After that, we grabbed the opportunity to address the concerns of the Technologians with regards to the system of the CIT accounting. It has been observed that during the Prelim, the CIT accounting area was so crowded with many asking what's wrong with the CIT accounting. They are outraged because only a few tellers were there and they still have to line up a long line to get their admission slips after paying their dues.
Mr. Nabua told us that it was really an unfortunate incident. He said that during that time, 2 of their 5 tellers were on maternity leave and there were only a few reserve tellers. He also expressed concern on the admission slip fiasco and said that many proposals were suggested to them, but it was impractical upon implementation.
He also told us that during the College's Prelim pay week, it also coincided with the High School's that's why the situation got worst. He is also not favorable to the proposal from the CIT High School to have a satellite accounting office in their area because of the additional logistics, additional tellers and additional security for a new vault in that satellite accounting office.
I also raised the suggestion of our fellow Technologians to provide a fluorescent lamps in the accounting area now that the roof extensions were already made. He told me that it is on the way, and they're just waiting for it to be completely done. He also added that not only fluorescent lamps will be provided, even the TV will be playing movies or videos to keep the people paying from being bored and possibly a sound system will be provided to provide music.
He then assured us that by Midterms, the situation will dramatically improve and they will open more teller windows and more admission slip windows. Mr. Nabua was true to his word to us and I have seen for myself and Mr. Belenson the improvements.
Kudos to Mr. Nabua and the CIT accounting! (BTW, I'm expecting that the TV and the sound system will be later provided so that we will not be bored waiting there
