Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) is not increasing its tuition fee for school year 2009-2010. The school has been in touch with the students amidst the global financial crisis that has started to ripple its effects in our country. Students who come from the middle class are in CIT, and the school has just made a great decision.

Being also a student, I can also feel the crisis. This move would be very helpful to all of us. Thanks a lot CIT!

By the way, here's an 30 second TVC of CIT on quality education:

I would like to extend my felicitations to all the students and faculties of the Cebu Institute of Technology - College of Computer Studies (CIT-CCS) in celebrating the CCS Days last February 27 and 28 at the CIT Gymnasium.

The event was also a great venue in getting together my constituents in one place to showcase their knowledge and wits to each an everyone in the College. It was surely fun with those prizes that were given away to lucky participants during the raffle draw who stayed during the entire course of the event.

In behalf of Computer Science (CS) Representatives Yra May Talaba, Rahima Hamis, Mayette Genovesa and Mary Grace Gabunada, Information Technology (IT) Representative Jan Daisyl Diaz and Computer Engineering (CpE) Representatives Jervis Jade Revalde and Joseph Francis Parangan, congratulations to everyone that participated the event and hail to the index cards!
